whats been going on.

This is the current painting I'm working on. It's not done yet, but I just wanted to display my first attempt at oil painting! Oil is just amazing. Fuck you acrylic. I never loved you anyways. You're the reason I have carpel tunnel. You dry too fast and come off looking like plastic. I would also like to note my new obsession with drawing unibrows.

LACMA.

I went to LACMA the other day. While I was there I finally got to visit BCAM. What was even more amazing was the fact that I got to finally see Do Ho Suh's work up close in person. Looking at something from pictures or your computer screen is quite different from seeing it in person. I wish I could've take pictures but I was scolded by the museum's guards. (I was particularly upset when I couldn't take a picture with Jeff Koons' "Balloon Dog") Did "Bunny's Sofa" by Gimhongkosk make you paranoid? Haha! :)

If you get a chance to visit BCAM make sure to run inside Richard Serra's sculpture on level 1! I swear its an interesting experience!

Alright.

I thought it would be an interesting way to do my entries. I'll think of new ways to present each one.

Someone fed my cactus milk the other day... because they thought the glass on the table was water. Should I still give it water? Hmm... Well I can't say it will have strong bones, but maybe strong thorns? Ha.

I watched Before Sunrise the other day, and I enjoyed it. Although some parts were a bit pretentious, and seemed as if they were trying too hard. It's a cute plot, and consists of interesting conversations between the characters Celine and Jesse.

Alright so this blog is just bits and pieces of what I like, what I do, and what I see. It will consist of pages from my sketchbook, scraps of paper with writing, movies, pictures, etc. I'm not very good with HTML to even bother changing this layout.
